The recruitment of researchers shall comply with the provisions of the OTM-R Policy, or the Policy of Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment, which includes:

  • equal access to job opportunities
  • transparent assessment criteria
  • non-discrimination (against gender, age, origin etc.)
  • recognition of scientific achievements and multidimensional career paths

  • individual mentoring and substantive support
  • training courses and international mobility programmes
  • independent research projects
  • recognition of various forms of achievements (apart from publications)

Researchers shall conduct research in line with ethical, integrity and social responsibility principles, including:

  • compliance with ethical and legal standards
  • integrity in conducting research
  • responsibility for social, environmental and cultural impact of research
  • respect for intellectual property and data
